Oh! Yay!! This past week has been amazing!! My classes are wonderful, I think this semester will be an AMAZING adventure.
I have 5 roommates: Meigan, Ceara, Tasha, Alana and Jamie. All six of us live in our own room in one apartment. I have gotten to know all 5 of them and they are all really sweet girls. :) Thursday night there was a Block Party dance. We went, and it ended up being LAME. So we came back to our apartment and had our own little dance party. Which was a ton of fun. We really got to know each other.
Friday night we had nothing to do, but three of us had a girls night with ice cream and watched "The Last Song." One of the girls in the apartment fought with her boyfriend and just needed the night away from him. So GIRLS NIGHT all the way.
Saturday-- oh geez, Saturday. Saturday was the very first home Snow College football game of the year! And they had pregame activities. So, Meigan and myself headed out. They had a giant slip and slide and an obstacle course, and a paint fight. The paint fight was the entire reason we went. Jamie and her boyfriend met us there and we were plastered with blue, white, and yellow paint. Oh geeze! The paint soaked through our clothes and so our skin was multi-colored by the time we went to the barbecue. Yum! Everything was free which made it so much more enjoyable. After the festivities we went to the football game being part of the Rowdy Crowd. (Rowdy Crowd is the student section down at Snow) Oh my it was so much fun. By the end of the first quarter we were up 35-0. WOO GO BADGERS!! :) The paint was entirely annoying so we left after the 5th touch down to go shower.
Indoor plumbing is one of my favorite things in the entire world. Just to let everyone know. :) Coming back down to Snow was probably the best decision I made all summer!!
