So it is FINALLY my spring break at college. But it sure hasn't seemed like much of a break. Sunday, I left for Logan to visit my big brother Adam and his beautiful wife Trina. I spent a few days and it was nice see different scenery.
While there I tried my first piece of tofu. Which will also be my last. The texture is very weird. And my mouth is all about the texture. However, we did have a traditional Japanese meal. It was intriguing. HA HA. But still TOFU+ME=GROSS. I just sat and visited. Adam and I did get into a very deep discussion about me and the boys I choose to keep in my life. Adam is one of those brothers that knows all my secrets. So he isn't afraid to be blunt. On certain things though we do not see eye to eye. Like Boys I should date. But he knows it is my choice. But I wish someone would just once tell me what to do, so I can ignore it and do as I please.
After a few days in Logan I came home to be with my family before I returned to Ephraim to work. Nothing much happened at home but laughs and I needed a few laughs.
Because I need 200 hours of free work at a pharmacy to get my license I made the decision to work over my break. So I worked Wednesday at 2-6 and then Thursday at 9:30-6. It was a long couple of days. And Ephraim is very scary when all the college kids are not there. It is basically a ghost town. So I made sure I kept noise on in my empty apartment the entire time. I was scared. As soon as I was done at the pharmacy I headed home to Tooele to actually enjoy my break.
It is odd, but I am having baby fever. So many women I know are pregnant. Let's start with my sister, Natasha, she is having a little boy and she has that mother's glow. I am jealous. Next, Trina (Adam's wife), is also having a little boy and she is very happy, side-stepping her complications. One of my besties is also pregnant, my Jennie, is happy and I know she will be a great mom. I am just proud of her and I pray for her. I also found out that my old boss's wife is pregnant, Lynette Stowe is also. So it is babies everywhere. It makes me want to experience the joy as well. But I don't mind being patient. :)
Always,
Elora.
